Abstract

The aim of this work is to define logical links of historical geography within geographical science field and towards history science, to single out and determine historical and geographical factors included in egzact positioned theoretical concept and approach of historical geography based on methodological principles of both fields alike. This work also examines the unclear position of the subject-matter, being as complex as it is, its limits within the frame of the scientific system of geography, and acceptation of its basic identificational distinct definition. Examining interactive and complex relationships between nature, society and historical events historical-geographical laws have been determined and therefore it is possible to understand the objective spatial reality which validates the prediction of future laws, proccesses and links in geographical space as one of foremost tasks in historical geography.
