Abstract

The Republic of Croatia, like most countries in the world, recognize the importance of culture and tourism, which is evident through the numerous legal and regulatory strategy development. Culture is important for country because of the construction and preservation of national identity, and tourism because of its promotion and realization of significant cash income. Their cooperation is achievable through cultural tourism, for which demand is growing daily. The richness and the importance of safeguarding intangible cultural heritage in Croatia was recognized by UNESCO who protected twelve intangible goods. The aim of the master thesis is to explore how they are involved in the Croatian tourist offer, especially the possibility of finding the information about them online. Although some gaps in their online presentation were found, the initial hypothesis about their lack of involvement in the Croatian tourist offer was rejected. Examples of good practice, constant work and investments in people that accepted the criticisms and suggestions to implement them would certainly have made progress that Croatia aspires.
