This work describes the basic hydrographic characteristics of the Bednja River catchment that are necessary for an understanding of hydrological processes. In the analytical part of the work it analyzes the basic physicalgeographic and sociogeographic runoff conditions in order to establish a connection between these and runoff regimes. The stream flow regime includes the way of supply and distribution of characteristic river discharge (water level) in the river during the hydrological or calendar year. Module (Pardé) coefficients were used to analyze stream flow regime, obtained on the basis of average annual or monthly flow values for five hydrological stations on the river Bednja for period 1987th to 2006th and have established the basic features of the stream flow regime. Recent changes in flow regime in the basin Bednja were analysed at the end, and has established a link between changes in precipitation regimes and regime of runoff.
