Abstract

Deep roots of very complicated Irish problem have their beginnings far in the past and bind to the loss of their own country and freedom of the Irish people. This problem lasts from the end of the 12th century to the present. This paper examines and analyzes in details the history and issue of Northern Ireland conflict, whose roots go back to the 12th century when England conquested Ireland, and extends through the entire 19th century, with culmination in the sixties and seventies of the last century. This paper answers the question what are the problems which led to the brutal and bloody conflict in Northern Ireland and why today's government and politicians can’t find solutions to this conflict.
