Abstract

Thesis analyzes the transformation of the spatial structure of Črnomerc with particular emphasis on the period of transition.. Črnomerec was known as a space with intensive development of industry, but with emerging process of transformation industry is becoming less important, while merchandising and services are becoming more important. Industrial land is being transformed to bussines and residential areas, while free land is becoming residential area. Processes of functional-spatial and socio-spatial transformation have been analyzed. The goal was to note processes that had the most influence on todays spatial structure, and to determine differeces inside the district, and what is causing this differences.
