Fundy National Park is located in the southeast of the Canadian province of New Brunswick. It is influenced by a number of internal and external stressors that pose a threat to ecological integrity. Disorders in the population of a single species, such as moose, can have serious consequences for the ecosystems of Fundy National Park as well as the wider area. Also, a serious problem poses man's behaviour towards protected areas. Artificial lighting, emissions caused by excesive use of various vehicles, as well as the necessary infrastructure are additional burden and threat to the conservation of ecological integrity. It is necessary to continuously monitor the changes taking place and to work on strategies applied in protected areas in order to ensure sustainable development.
