Abstract

Changes in the environment can be of antopogenic or natural origin. The natural phenomenons are still dominant over antropogenic influence on the environment. This paper shows how changes in the environment are caused by volcanic eruptions. The goal of this paper is to show how volcanic rocks, particles and gases can have an affect on life as well as on chemistry of water, atmosfere and soil. Parameters like the concetrations of certain gases in the air or chemicals in the water and soil are continuously measured in order to understand the conection between the volcanoes and every sphere of the planet Earth, respectively. The most known conection or interaction is the one between the man and the volcano eruptions. This paper points to positive and negative sides of the above mentioned interaction. Volcano eruptions are inexhaustible source of anorganic compounds which are necessary for the development of life. Plant life depends on the variety of minerals which come from volcanos. Animal life, which is plant-dependent, contributes to the biodiversity of the volcanic environment. Seemingly inhospitable area around certain volcano can be a habitat to a variety of organisms.
