Abstract

CRISPR/Cas system plays important role in defence from infective particlesin Prokaryotes and Arhaea. The mechanism of CRISPR/Cas system can be used in genomeediting not only in Prokaryotes but also in Eukaryotes. Because its a novelty, a great number of scientists show interest in studying and possible improvement of this system. To date all results indicates show that in the near future the use of this system will be inevitable in various disciplines of science. This paper describes recent results of the use of CRISPR/Cas system. It also shows how it can be modified to improve its efficiency and precision and which are the advantages of then wilde type CRISPR/Cas in contrast to mutant form. Further more it is described the practical use of wild type and mutated type of Cas9 nuclease and how it can be used in genome editing.
