Abstract

The objective of the present thesis is to gradually define domain specific programming language. The first section focuses on engineering domain design process. Design follows analysis and adds details as to how the analysis model should be implemented. The aspects explored are the skills and advantages of a common language between domain experts and programmers. It comprises a description of constructing a common programming language and using it. In order to create meaningful model of the reality in software, the application domain within the terms of domain-driven design was studied. Hereafter we will go into more detail on creating a good domain model, entities, value objects and services. For this purpose the concept of services are introduced. The final phase highlights general properties and common characteristics of DSLs. Example of platform and application on DSL is given.
