Abstract

Paper describes the development of the programming language Python and the advantages of using this programming language. Paper describes the concept of the project, phases which should be part of any project in the classroom and the benefits of using project based learning. Paper shows an example of the project based learning in computer classroom in the second year of secondary school using the programming language Python. Project is associated with the outcomes of the curriculum in information technology for the first and second year of secondary school. During the project, students learn how to use the functions of the module random for generating lists whose elements are random numbers and divided into teams and using those function, students are developing training programs that simulate gambling games Loto 7/39, dice roll and coin tossing.
