During April 2012. the development of the softmouth young larvae from hatching to a loss of yolk sac was overseen. The larvae were obtained by artificial spawning from "Distribution and conservation of endemic subspecies of softmouth trout (Salmo obtusirostris) in the Adriatic river. Through 26 days, 14 larvae was morphometrically processed and described their development, after that on the certain larvae was made a histological analysis. In isolated gonads of adult specimens was performed histological analysis to see the stages of developments. On the basis of morphometric analysis data were obtained on the development of fins, the senses and the respiratory system, and the transition to an oral diet. Histological analysis of the gonads help in determining age of individulas Salmo obtusirostris by comparing individuals with changes in the testes of grayling. In histological analysis of the larvae are visible formed organs.
