GIS analysis methods were applied for analysing spatial distribution and density of dolines in the Samobor hills. This work is based on the analysis of doline density that was calculated using the mapped doline bottom, digital elevation model and field research. Doline density was correlated with lithology, tectonic, structural and relief factors. In the wider area of Samobor hills there have been recorded 1213 points of dolines bottom, which on area of 234, 5 km2 giving a density of 5, 15 dol/km2 and this area automatically belongs to the category with a very low density of dolines. By correlating between morphometric parameters of relief and spatial differences in doline density will show what is the distribution, frequency and dominance of dolines in the study area. This result will revealed certain connections between dolines and genesis of dolines. The diagrams of linearly developed dolines it will be shown us the powerful influence of faults on the development of elongated dolines.
