Pleistocene lacustrine sediments were found in South Velebit Channel on both north and south coast. The lacustrine sediments of Seline and Ždrilo sections comprise well preserved fossil flora and gastropod moulds. The collected flora comprises 10 specimens of fossil leafs at the Seline section, and more than 70 specimens at the Ždrilo section. The studied fossil flora belongs to 15 dendrological taxa of 9 families.
