Abstract

This thesis looks at the relations and connections between the demographic-social and economic characteristics of the population of the county of Krapina-Zagorje as an indicator of the elecorate characteristics and the results of the 2007 Parliamentary elections. In the thesis there are, based on chosen representative population characteristics, singled out types of electorates. These singled out types of electorates were compared to the results of the 2007 Parliamentary elections via GIS modeling. With such an area analysis certain concordances were determined between the basic electorate characteristics and the choice of politics they vote for.
