Abstract

This graduation paper presents a digital analysis of morphometric terrain features related to one part of Bednja river valley. Digital relief analysis data used in this paper was gathered in a process of terrestrial measuring by using Ilris 3D laser scanner. A comparative analysis of calculated values of morphometric slope angle, aspect and curvature, parameters was conducted in the GIS environment. Spatial distribution of the values of each of the morphometric parameters was correlated with the structural and morphogenetic features of the given part of Bednja river valley. The data obtained by this analysis was implemented in a geomorphological database and compared to the existing digital terrain models.
